Beavers

Thursday - 6.15pm to 7.15pm

Beaver Scouting is open to both boys and girls and we run as a full colony of 24 Beaver Scouts.

Our aim is to make sure that our Beaver Scouts have fun and make new friends, we have no catchment area as such so the young people come from many different schools.

During their time in the Colony, Beaver Scouts will get a chance to try a wide range of different activities as well as going on trips, days out, and on sleepovers. Participation is our key approach, and there are a range of  activity badges and challenge awards that Beaver Scouts can gain to recognise their achievements.

These hopefully culminate in achieving the highest award in Beaver Scouts which is the Bronze Chief Scout Award.

Occasionally we may ask for help for specific events – we like to build up a positive relationship with parents as well as our young people.

We do run a waiting list being such a popular Group but try our utmost to get the young people into Scouting as soon as we possibly can.
